Acetate Tow Producers

Acetylation reaction
Using natural cellulose (wood pulp or cotton pulp) as raw material, it undergoes esterification reaction with acetic anhydride and acetic acid under the action of catalyst (sulfuric acid) to produce cellulose triacetate (TAC) or partially hydrolyzed diacetate (DAC).

Solution spinning: Cellulose acetate is dissolved in a mixed solvent (usually acetic acid and acetone) and dry-spun through a spinneret. The filaments are desolvated in the air to form continuous filaments.

Tow formation
After forming, multiple filaments are gathered into bundles through a guiding device, and then processed by quantitative oiling, air drying, shaping, etc. to form a tow with the required diameter and uniformity.

Rolling and packaging
The yarn bundle is wound into regular fiber tubes or blocks, and then shipped out after being weighed and vacuum packed for easy transportation and use.

Can be used in combination with activated carbon, spices, etc. to enhance the taste experience.

Medical and personal care
Cotton swabs, cotton balls, medical filter materials: hydrophilic and non-toxic;

Mask inner layer material: soft and breathable, comfortable and skin-friendly;

Drug carrier: some acetate fibers can be used for controlled release carriers to embed drugs.

Air filtration and environmental engineering
Used in air purifiers, high-efficiency air filters, and industrial waste gas treatment devices;

Can effectively adsorb particulate matter, nicotine, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.;

Can be processed into a multi-layer composite fiber structure to improve filtration accuracy.

Textiles and composite materials
Can be used to modify high-end clothing fabrics to improve comfort and moisture absorption;

Blended with other polymer materials to make functional composite films and sheets.
