Production process and technology

Raw material processing:
Purification of wood pulp → reaction with acetic anhydride to form triacetyl cellulose → partial hydrolysis to adjust the degree of esterification (usually 53-55% acetyl content).
Spinning process:
Dry spinning (mainstream process): dissolve in acetone and then spin at high pressure, solvent recovery rate ≥ 95%;
Wet spinning: suitable for special functional fibers (such as antibacterial modification).
Key equipment: acetylation reactor, spinning machine, solvent recovery system.
Physical and chemical properties
Physical properties:
Density: 1.28-1.32 g/cm³;
Breaking strength: 1.2-1.8 cN/dtex;
Thermal stability: softening point 230-250℃ (better than ordinary plastics).
Chemical properties:
Resistant to organic solvents (except acetone);
Biodegradable (degradation rate ≥ 80% in 3-5 years under natural conditions).
