Cellulose Acetate Tow High Grade

Diacetate fiber tow is a polymer material made from natural cellulose (wood, cotton linters, etc.) through acetification to diacetate cellulose and spinning. This material has a Y-shaped single-filament cross-section structure and has excellent moisture absorption, air permeability and adsorption properties. It is mainly used in the manufacture of cigarette filters.

Morphological characteristics: white fiber bundle, single fiber cross section presents Y-shaped geometric structure.
Chemical properties: molecular chain contains 53-56% acetyl, molecular weight 80,000-160,000, soluble in acetone, strong acid and alkali easily decompose ester bonds. Diacetate fiber bundle is a food-grade precision filter material, mainly used to make cigarette filters.
