This product is industrial-grade HPMC. Its main application is as a dispersant in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is a key auxiliary agent in the suspension polymerization process for preparing PVC. Additionally, it is used as a thickener, stabilizer, emulsifier, excipient, water-retaining agent, and film-forming agent in the production of other petrochemical products such as coatings, building materials, paint removers, agricultural chemicals, inks, textile printing and dyeing, ceramics, papermaking, and cosmetics. In the application of synthetic resins, it enables the obtained products to have characteristics such as regular particle size, loose structure, appropriate specific gravity, and excellent processing performance, thereby basically replacing gelatin and polyvinyl alcohol as dispersants. Moreover, in the construction process of the building industry, it is mainly used in mechanized construction such as wall construction, plastering, and joint filling; especially in decorative construction, it is used for bonding tiles, marble, plastic decorations, with high bonding strength and can also reduce the amount of cement. When used in the paint industry as a thickener, it can make the coating layer shiny and fine, without powdering, and improve the leveling performance, etc. Purpose
This product is used in the textile industry as thickening agent, dispersant, adhesive, excipient, oil-resistant coating, filler, emulsifier and stabilizer. It is also widely applied in industries such as synthetic resins, petrochemicals, ceramics, papermaking, leather, medicine, food and cosmetics. Main application purpose
1. Construction industry: As a water-retaining agent and retardant for cement mortar, it enables the mortar to have pumpability. It is used as an adhesive in plastering mortar, gypsum materials, putty powder or other building materials, improving the spreading property and prolonging the operational time. It is also used as an adhesive for pasting tiles, marble, plastic decorations, and as an adhesive enhancer, which can reduce the amount of cement. The water-retaining property of HPMC prevents the mortar from cracking due to drying too quickly after application and enhances the strength after hardening.
2. Ceramic manufacturing industry: It is widely used as an adhesive in ceramic product manufacturing.
3. Paint industry: As a thickener, dispersant and stabilizer in the paint industry, it has good compatibility in both water and organic solvents. It is also used as a paint remover.
4. Ink printing: As a thickener, dispersant and stabilizer in the ink industry, it has good compatibility in both water and organic solvents.
5. Plastics: As a demolding agent, softening agent, lubricant, etc.
6. Polyvinyl chloride: It is used as a dispersant in polyvinyl chloride production, being a main additive for preparing PVC by suspension polymerization.
7. Others: This product is also widely used in the leather, paper products industry, fruit and vegetable preservation and textile industry, etc.
8. Pharmaceutical industry: Coating material; membrane material; polymer material for controlled-release preparations; stabilizer; suspending agent; tablet binder; thickening agent
Specific industry applications
Construction industry
1. Cement mortar: Improves the dispersion of cement-sand, significantly improves the plasticity and water-retaining property of the mortar, effectively prevents cracks, and enhances the strength of cement.
2. Tile cement: Improves the plasticity and water-retaining property of pressed tile mortar, enhances the adhesion of tiles, and prevents flaking.
3. Coating of refractory materials such as asbestos: As a suspension stabilizer, a flow improvement agent, and also improves the adhesion to the substrate.
4. Gypsum concrete mortar: Improves the water-retaining property and processing property, and enhances the adhesion to the substrate.
5. Joint cement: Added to joint cement for gypsum boards, improves the flowability and water-retaining property.
6. Latex putty: Improves the flowability and water-retaining property of putty based on resin latex.
7. Putty: As a paste substitute for natural materials, it improves the water-retaining property and enhances the adhesion to the substrate.
8. Paint: As a plasticizer for latex paint, it has an effect on improving the operational performance and flowability of the paint and putty powder.
9. Spray paint: Has a good effect on preventing the filling material from sinking in cement-based or latex-based spray materials and improving the flowability and spray beam shape.
10. Secondary products of cement and gypsum: As a bonding agent for cement-asbestos-based substances during extrusion molding, improving the flowability and achieving uniform molded products.
11. Fiber wall: Due to its anti-bacterial and anti-enzyme effects, it is an effective adhesive for sand walls.
12. Others: Can be used as a bubble retention agent for thin putty, sand and water-based plastering operations (PC version).
Chemical industry
1. Polymerization of vinyl chloride, vinyl ethylene: As a suspension stabilizer and dispersant during polymerization, it can be used in combination with vinyl alcohol (PVA), hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC), etc., and can control particle shape and distribution.
2. Adhesive: As an adhesive for wallpaper, it can be used in combination with vinyl acetate latex paint instead of starch.
3. Pesticides: Added to insecticides and herbicides, it can improve the adhesion effect during spraying.
4. Latex: As an emulsifying stabilizer for asphalt latex and a thickener for styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) latex.

Dissolution method:

1. Take the required amount of hot water and put it in a container. Heat it up to above 85℃, then gradually add this product while stirring slowly. At first, the cellulose floats on the water surface, but it gradually disperses and forms a uniform slurry. Cool the solution under stirring.
2. Or heat 1/3 or 2/3 of the hot water to above 85℃, add the cellulose, obtain the hot water slurry, then add the remaining amount of cold water, keep stirring, and the mixture obtained will be cooled and ready.
