Classification by tow specifications
Tow density: Common types include 2.5Y, 3.0Y, 3.3Y, etc., where Y represents the density per gram of tow.
Single filament diameter: generally between 15 and 25 microns, which can be adjusted accordingly depending on the final use.
Tow number: usually expressed as the total number of strands, such as 30,000, 40,000, 50,000, etc.
Production process
Esterification reaction: Cellulose reacts with acetic anhydride in the presence of a catalyst to produce cellulose acetate.

Precipitation and washing: After the reaction is completed, water is added to precipitate and the unreacted product is removed to obtain wet cellulose acetate.

Drying and crushing: The wet material is dried and crushed into powder.

Dissolution and spinning: After dissolving with acetone, a tow is made through a dry spinning process.
