Environmental protection: Biodegradable (easier to decompose than synthetic fibers), but the degradation rate depends on environmental conditions.
Physical properties:
Good adsorption (such as adsorption of tar in flue gas)
The filaments are fluffy and the cross-section is irregularly serrated, which enhances the filtration efficiency.
Poor heat resistance (begins to soften at about 200°C), not resistant to strong acids and alkalis.
