Cellulose acetate tow is made from natural wood pulp. After being processed into cellulose acetate sheets through acetylation reaction, it is made through dissolution, filtration, spinning, curling, drying and other processes. As a precision filtration material, it is mainly used in the production of cigarette filters. The tow is a regenerated cellulose fiber with excellent hygroscopicity and adsorption. Its single fiber cross-section is a "Y"-shaped structure, and the fiber has a large specific surface area, which can effectively absorb and retain harmful components in smoke. In the tow specifications such as 2.4Y/34000, 2.4 and 34000 represent the single fiber linear density and the total denier of the tow, respectively, in denier; Y represents the cross-sectional shape of the single fiber.
