Production process
Raw material preparation: Natural cellulose (such as cotton linters, wood pulp) as raw materials

Alkalinization treatment: Cellulose reacts with NaOH to produce alkali cellulose.

Etherification reaction: Alkali cellulose reacts with sodium chloroacetate (ClCH₂COONa) to introduce carboxymethyl groups.

Neutralization and purification: pH adjustment, removal of by-products (e.g. NaCl)

Drying and crushing: obtain powdered CMC product.
